The club would like your help in tidying up the field and putting up a couple of marquees on Saturday the 12th of September, the day before the E-vent.
If you own a petrol powered strimmer or leaf blower/garden vac then these would be most welcome.
Otherwise please bring yourself, gardening clothes, gloves, garden rakes, spades and eye protection (for strimmers etc).
As the old Chinese proverb says “many hands make light work” Please don’t leave it to the usual few.
Please support your club and lend a little muscle for a couple of hours.
We’ll have a BBQ and some refreshments for helpers.
We plan to start work at the field at noon on Saturday the 12th of September.
Look forward to seeing you all.

9he Summer Solstice flying event is still on for Saturday the 20th of June 2009.
There will be a FREE BBQ and FREE soft drinks (as long as stock last) so come along and fly until dark to celebrate the longest day of the year. See flying times and restrictions below.
(and yes we know the 20th isn’t actually the longest day).
We aim to start the BBQ at around 6:00PM
Last years event was damped down by a bit of drizzle, but it dried up and we all eventually had a good time, with the TwinStars with lights being the last up in the near pitch black.
